This past July I attempted one of the hardest things ever as a photographer....photographing your OWN family. Ha! Just kidding...kinda. :) My brother and his family were in town visiting before they moved to South Korea for three years. Yes, you read that correctly. So needless to say it was a no brainer that we needed to capture memories for ourselves let alone for my mom with her three adorable grandchildren all together. So of course us girls got planning on the color combinations. I know some families always stress over it but I found it fun. I personally start with my kid's outfits and then dress my husband and I around them. Us girls couldn't go without showing off our adorable shoes to match! Of course my family has been so patient waiting me to edit so I thought they deserved a blog post. It was a hot summer day where one second it looked like it might rain and the next the sun was shinning. We decided to stick to my mom's neighborhood due to the kids and making sure they were happy. I'm pretty sure all these photos were taken over a time span of 6 hours. :) We took lots of breaks and made sure no one was crabby! I know we will enjoy them for a long time and can't wait to take family pictures together soon. Hopefully sooner than later. In the mean time, we FaceTime weekly with my brother and I can still take photos thanks to my iPad. It's called Screenshots! I always ask my clients..."Whats the most important image we get today?" I said the same for my family and we of course said the ones with Nana were the most important. The next time Nana has all her grandkids together will be at least a year. I know my sweet nephew will be such a big boy by then! Even a few month later he has grown so much. :) So fun to see my brother and sister-in-law be parents. I mean isn't SJ the cutest baby ever?!?! I did manage to squeeze in my two little goofballs for some photos. Their outfits were so cute together so I couldn't pass that up! Love my kids and their silly faces {sometimes sassy!} Now for the family photos...I course I got in them. :) I personally think the silly ones capture my family the best!
