Shoot & Share Contest

This year I entered the Shoot & Share Photo Contest!!
It is the only FREE & FAIR photo contest in the world. 
There were OVER 400,000 photos entered in this contest and
each photographer was able to enter 50 images. 
It was fun voting in all categories and see all the AMAZING TALENT!

I had NINE IMAGES make it to the TOP 30% or higher!
For my first time entering the contest, I'm pretty please!!
Always a tad bit scary to put your hard work out there for people to judge
and vote but it is something that makes you stronger.
It was fun to see which ones made it farther and so excited to SHARE those images with you!

This amazing Fresh48 session landed in the top 10% of the Birth & Newborn category with a place of 2,154 out of 29,560.  You should total follow my amazing client's blog and Instagram account!!!
She is so stylish and seriously adorable.

This sweet boy's newborn lifestyle session landed in the
top 10% of the Birth & Newborn category with a place of 2,131 of 29,560.
He was just as sweet in person and just loved this family's newborn lifestyle session.

This sweet girl's Fresh 48 Session is super special to me since she is my niece!!
This landed in the top 10% of the Birth & Newborn category with a place of 2,816 of 29,560.

This family is no stranger to my Facebook page as I've been using their images for my Spring Mini Session promotions.  This image from their family portrait session landed in the
top 20% of the Family Portrait category with a place of 3,072 of 26,963

Oh this family portrait session from last Fall just melts.my.heart!! And having photos with children and their Mama just melts it even more! This image placed in the
top 20% of the Family Portrait category with a place of 3,121 of 26,963.

One my amazing Senior Rep Team girls landed in the top 20% in the Senior category with a place of 3,385 of 29,460. Her session was amazing and you should really click over and check it out.

Oh this might be one of my favorite maternity sessions to date.  This mama was amazing!! Her image placed in the top 30% of the Maternity category with a place of 5,243 of 18,185.

Seriously think he could be a Gerber Baby!! His family portrait session with his parents was swoon worthy!  Him and his daddy placed in the top 30% of the Family Portrait category with a place of 6,976 of 26,963.

Shoot and Share has a category for Creative/Personal Projects.  It was fun to view and vote on all the amazing images.  This image is of my son when we were on vacation in North Myrtle Beach.  As any artist knows, it is fun to do something just for you. You better believe it's framed in our house too! This image landed in the
top 30% of the Creative/Personal Project category with a place of 3,273 of 13,502.

I truly love my job as a photographer.  I know that may sound cheesy but it gives me chills when I take your photos and see it on the back of my camera.  I do the happy dance when I get in the car after a session and clap my hands after I send you your images via email.
