When I started my business, I learn many things in regards to running a business and also to perfect my work as a photographer. I practiced, read many books, and also networked with other photographers. The hardest part?? Not comparing your work to others. We are ALL human and so of course I did {and still do} get caught up in that. BUT, I do remember from time to time, its not about others, its about improving YOURSELF. Thought I would use a sample with my own kids cause they are so cute!! And, this photo is printed as an 11x14 and framed in my bedroom. Yes, I could have changed it out years ago but I just love it for many reasons. First, it's my kids and I find them absolutely adorable but also it shows where I started. I remember this very moment of being in our backyard practicing on them. And of course here is the latest image of my two kiddos. I took this in our new backyard this past fall. And yes, it will be printed soon and hung in our home!!! I hope in whatever you do each day, that you remember where you started and how far you have come. *Quote found on Pinterest. Author unknown*
