​Yes, of course it does!! 

Finding the Light! 

As a natural light photographer, finding the light for my sessions is important!  Every photographer has their style and look for their images.  As an artist, this is what makes us unique to our work.  For me, I enjoy finding the light for my Portrait Sessions.  I scout locations and suggest to you the time of day based on where the light falls! 

Sunset Sessions 

Most of my clients know that I enjoy photographing at sunset! Of course this means that we will wait till the later hours in the summer and the earlier hours in the fall. But this is a look that I LOVE.  I always refer to the light as "yummy light".  I mean, how can you not?? It's gorgeous!   I typically will book your session an hour to hour half before the sun sets depending on the location.  Being in south, we are the city among the trees. So you have to make sure you know where the sun falls at your location.

I love this sunset session in Douglasville, Ga on private property.  I have amazing friends that let me use their backyard.  Yes, I said backyard. Wish mine looked like this!  

Sunrise Sessions

Yes, I said sunrise. But I promise, it's worth it! 
​That early morning sun is just as gorgeous as at sunset.  Ponce City Market is a great example.  You can photograph at sunset at Ponce City Market, but depending on the time of year and day, it can be busy with people. For this session below, I suggested early morning because the sunrise was beautiful AND there was no one there. We had the place to ourselves and beautiful photos to show for it. 

What about my kids? Won't they be cranky?  

This is a common question that I get asked.  Yes, I want your children to be happy!  I do work with each of my families on what is best for them.  If your children are early risers {most are}, lets plan for a sunrise session! Your kids love to nap, lets do a sunset session after they've napped in the afternoon.  And of course, if your children do much better inside, I always offer lifestyle family sessions.  You better believe I love finding the light in your home as well.  Either way, I want nothing but the best for my clients.  As a mother, I know kid's attention spans are short and you never know how they will be but I promise I'll capture your family being YOU!
