COVID-19 Guidelines for Sessions

These guidelines have been updated April 2022.
I'm fully vaccinated with the COVID vaccine as of April 2021. Booster was in November 2021.  Due to the low cases in our community, I will not wear a mask unless you request that I do.  It is your choice if you would like to wear a mask in between breaks with photos. I want to be safe and keep your family's best interest and health in mind.  Please see the guidelines that I have in place.

in-person camera classes 

Depending on the class type, all classes will either be a 10:1 ratio or 5:1.  You can check out my classes and see which one fits your comfort level. Masks are encouraged and everyone will be 6 feet a part. Hand sanitizer will be available. If there is a mandated shut down by the government due to increase in COVID cases, your class will be refunded. A waiver will be required to sign before joining the class.

outdoor family sessions

Family sessions can be held outdoors in the fresh air to minimize contact. Sessions will take place during early morning or golden hour which is by far my most favorite time of the day to shoot. Please feel free to contact me for recommendations for outdoor areas for your session.

in-home newborn session

In-home newborn sessions are available for families. However, if you prefer to have your session outside that is fine too.  All procedures such as hand-washing and sanitizing of all camera equipment before entering will still be in place for an in-home session.  Please know that I can communicate with you to help pose your family and your newborn so there is very little contact. I'll wear a mask at all times when your home. 

disinfecting while outdoors

I will arrive at each session with wet wipes and hand-sanitizer and will use those throughout the session . I'll be wearing a mask during the session at time so that I can interact with you and your family.  Those interactions are what allow me to get the quality of images that you deserve. 

​no personal contact policy

​In the spirit of “social distancing” I will always ask if I can help with any moving/touching hair or clothes while shooting.  I also will ask if I can help pose you for a photo. If you prefer, I will try my best to direct you from a safe distance.

In addition to my current booking requirements, I'll also require all clients to sign a liability waver.
This is to protect myself, business, and your family.
