A Year in Review {2014} | Atlanta Photographer | Douglasville Ga Photographer

Well, 2015 is here and I thought I would do a little A Year in Review for 2014!!  I always love looking back all my awesome clients and how much fun we had.  If I picked my favorites, you would all be here ALL night because everyone is my favorite.  So I thought a little review of the year and all the fun places we went and did!!! First…thank you to all my awesome clients.  
Im always in awe of the great support I have from each of you.  

Started 2014 with this sweet girl!! I just loves her sweet 6 month lifestyle session and love that I get to document her every three months.  In just a few short weeks, I'll see Miss Clara again. Hard to believe she will be 18 months! 

When the traveling husband tells you he's heading to NYC…you plan to go with him!! While he worked, I got to explore. It was a great time for me to be an artist and just take photos for me.  I'm a huge fan of Jackson Pollock and studied him in college. 

Then it snowed!! Yep this is REAL in Atlanta.  I didn't have to use photoshop or any overlays. I believe us Atlantans called it Snowmageddon?!?! It was nuts and we pretty much were stuck in the house for 4 days.  

I had the pleasure of photographing two Adoption Homecoming Sessions through Red Thread Organization.  Seriously gives me chills {and some happy tears} when I do these sessions. I just love doing this! 

Then came spring time and it was babies, babies, and kids!!! Started with this sweet girl and her two big sisters. 

Then I had the pleasure of doing a Fresh 48 Session.  So much fun and loved them so much! 

A big addition in 2015 was Real Estate Photography for me.  I teamed up with a few agents in the area and started photographing homes in the spring.  It has been a great experience and met some fabulous people along the way! 

While visiting my dad and step this summer, I did a little mini session with with my beautiful sister.  She headed to college this past fall but needed a few "senior photos" for our family wall at home! 

Then we headed to Chicago!!! While I was visiting my in-laws, I got the pleasure of photographing this sweet girl.  It was her first birthday session and we had a blast.  It was so fun photographing in a different location. Just love this place! 

If you know me, you know I love telling a good story!!! So naturally I love lifestyle sessions.  We did the Walker Family session at the grandparents house.  They have such great memories there and we had such a great time! 

I also played with film this year!! I learned photography on my film camera in high school.  I just loved it of course. I gave it a try again and loved how they turned out.  It's on my 2015 list of to do's as well! 

This session was just awesome.  First, the husband contact me as an anniversary gift to his wife. I mean, how awesome is he?!? Then, I met them at their house in Reynoldstown in Atlanta. Such a cool neighborhood.  We had a great night walking around the Atlanta Beltline. Their dog was awesome and there was so many cool places to take pictures. 

I added another preschool to my portfolio this year! Now have the pleasure of photographing school photos for two preschools.  As a former special education preschool teacher, I find so much joy in this! It brings me back to my teaching days and working with preschoolers.  Love seeing their awesome personalities shine through!! If your local to Douglasville, Seeds of Faith Preschool and Prince of Peace Lutheran Learning Center are both great preschools in the area. 

I think this session might be one of my favorite locations to date! Ive always wanted to photograph at Foxhall Hunting Club and when the Temple family contacted me, I was all for it!!  They had a great fall night with a beautiful sunset. Just beautiful. 

All my fall session families were awesome! I just loved capturing all those smiles for everyone.  This session was just as sweet as could be with their newest addition to the family.  Can't get any cuter than this?!?! 

And if you made it this far through my blog post…Thank you!!! Here are almost all my awesome families. With over 60 sessions and over 30 real estate homes, I would call this a successful year!! Thank you!!!
